We have moved!
Having designed ourselves out of Fleming House with the 4th Floor
now being turned into flats, Armitage Associates have
moved to 69 Haugh Road near the Kelvingrove Art Galleries.
Our move coincides with winning the multi million pound
refurbishment of the University Tower at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. In order
to cope with our growing work load Simon Smith has joined
the practice bringing our staff compliment to 10.
In September the office enjoyed a weekend trip to Berlin,
taking in the architectural sights and the vibrant night life.

We are delighted to announce
that Gordon Stewart became an Associate on Thursday 1st
May. This reflects Gordon’s commitment and abilities developed over
the nine years with Armitage Associates.

Recently completed projects in the Health Sector include the new build Wallacewell
Medical Centre and Level 5 Clinic Alterations in
the Glasgow Dental Hospital. We have also completed an extension to a detached
house in Bearsden for a private client.

Our current work load includes two housing projects
in Renfrewshire. North Road Johnstone, Value £4.43
million consisting of 10 amenity houses and 25 very sheltered flats,
10 of which are designed specifically for people with dementia, and Burns
Drive Johnstone, Value £3.9 million consisting of 6
very special needs flats and 24 social houses.

Our future work load remains very healthy having
very recently won our largest project to date, the £7 million
refurbishment of the University Tower at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and
the alteration and extension to the Endoscopy Unit at Ayr Hospital
